Dear Club Member
We now have a clearer picture of what our CoVid19 season is going to look like. Please read the following information carefully:
The season will be a shortened 10-week competition with no finals. The first weekend of competition will commence the weekend of 24, 25, 26 July and conclude on the weekend of 25, 26,27 September.
There have been many emails asking of a reimbursement of fees given the reduced season. The committee have considered this and have plans to reimburse paid members a portion of their fees in due course.
Unfortunately, it is not as simple as reimbursing an amount in line with a reduced season. Registration fees are comprised of components from aligned football associations. Reductions in fees from these associations are as follows:
FFA – 0% refund
NNSWF – 20% refund (on levy + insurance / excludes facility fund)
FFNC – 30% refund
Although significant, these components will only support reimbursement values ranging from $15 (Miniroos) to $40 (seniors).
As a result, the responsibility sits with PBFC to pass on reductions in the club levy which fairly reflect a shortened season. The following reductions have been determined by PBFC and take into consideration the Active Kids Voucher (AKV) received for juniors, whilst ensuring PBFC remains financially stable.
The club believes that the following restructuring of fees is appropriate:
Age group Original Fees Adjusted fees Refund
5-7 $160 $130 $30
8-11 $185 $150 $35
12-16 $225 $180 $45
17-18 $265 $210 $55
Seniors $350 $230 $120
Please be aware that refunds may take some time to process. Your patience is appreciated.
The club asks that if you have made the decision not to play that you begin the deregistration process immediately and inform the club no later than Thursday 18 June.
A survey monkey form will be sent to you next week regarding your refund choices, which we ask you to complete by July 31st, 2020.
Please be aware that junior players who used the Active Kids Voucher are not eligible to receive the $100 as a refund. This is a directive from the NSW Government and Service NSW.
Training has begun for Age 12 to 16 teams and Senior teams.
Age 5 to 11 players will be informed about team placements and training prior to the commencement of their competition in July.
