Latest COVID-19 news – April 2020
Please read the following communication regarding our grassroots competitions:

“Last month, FFA and Australia’s nine Member Federations, suspended grassroots football until April 14 due to the evolving COVID-19 pandemic.

In light of ongoing developments since that announcement, including stricter measures imposed by the Federal Government in response to COVID-19, the temporary suspension to sanctioned grassroots football competitions has today been extended through to at least May 31, 2020.

FFA, together with its Member Federations, will continue to communicate and monitor the COVID-19 situation in the lead up to May 31, 2020, and remain optimistic that football competitions will be able to take place in 2020. The safety of the football community remains our top priority at this time, with the health and wellbeing of our football family to be at the forefront of any decisions made regarding the resumption of play.”

What does this mean??
– Our junior and Senior Comps will continue it’s wait to begin playing.
— Our Miniroos Competition is now postponed and will NOT begin as scheduled on May 2nd.

Miniroos teams will still be formed for when the competition finally gets up and running and will be published on our website in due course.

Miniroos Day is still yet to be decided, depending on when we are with gatherings law.

Stay safe by staying at home and we can all be back on the pitch a whole lot faster.
