It’s that time of year again…

WE NEED YOUR HELP! If these roles don’t fill then the club risks closure (sorry but not sugar coating things – we WILL NOT run this year)!!

We have managed to fill our vacant executive positions, which is amazing, thanks to Renee (secretary), Annah (registrar) & Clay (gear steward) for stepping into new roles 👏🏼

But (there’s always a but)… we have a couple of positions that are crucial to the running of the season… without filling these the season simply won’t commence.

It’s always important that new people step forward to help to avoid burning out the old/current ones & with that in mind we are looking for the following:
Groundsperson – the field marking is CRUCIAL to the games going ahead – no field markings – no games – no season 🌾🍃🌱
Grants officier – last year our president also doubled as grants officer so the club could secure grants of 200k+, it was much more work on top of his actual role & the club would benefit greatly from someone who can take this on in 2022 as it cannot work like that again this year 💰
Team sheet submission – involves collection of team sheets, updating scores online, photographing and posting sheets Monday morning. Also CRUCIAL as if this does not happen, games cannot proceed for competition levels. 📮
Canteen coordinator – someone or a few people to work together to organise ordering of food & drink, prepping food and sales on the day. Canteen is equipped for coffee & hot food. Just need someone to run it. Volunteers help on a weekly basis on the day but need someone to run it specifically 🍔🍟🧋
Canteen volunteer roster – organise teams to show up on a weekly rotation to ensure the canteen peeps have enough helpers every week. 🧍‍♂️🧍🏼‍♀️🧍🏾‍♂️🧍🏼‍♀️🧍🏽

😮‍💨 that’s it but it’s a lot for the current volunteers to do themselves. Please if you think you or you & a friend could work together to help out our club.

Every year we have approx 450 members & it’s run on a very small amount of people.
